There is still time to contribute to Stafford's farewell!

As you know, our Crossing Guard Stafford is retiring after 21 years.  Did you know that he was voted Canada’s favourite Crossing Guard a few years ago?!  He is a sweet gentle soul who loves to sing gospel.

We have been collecting for a farewell gift for Stafford.  There has been so much outpouring from parents and children so we have extended the collection until 9am on the last day of school!  There is a blue box in the front office for parents and students to drop contributions and sign the group card.  No amount is too small.  FYI, the box will be emptied daily.

Our gift will be a cheque since many parents have suggested that is the best gift for him.  We will also present him with a memory book full of well wishes from every class in the school.

Wouldn’t it be great to collect enough for a free trip to Jamaica to see family & friends?!?  Imagine how thrilled he would be!

You can also have your photo taken with Stafford then email it to ncadeau@bell.net and it will be included in the memory book.
