Pizza Lunch is everyone’s favourite Friday!
We need you to lend a hand for Grade 1-8 Pizza Lunch next year. Here are the volunteer opportunities available:
Pizza Lead (8 hours in September and 4 hours monthly thereafter)
Primary coordinator of pizza lunch. This role is heavy in September as the order site needs to go live (done by an outside supplier) and the bulk of the orders will come in at this time. Each month involves updating new orders, fielding any parent issues, updating the order for both Pizza Pizza and the volunteer who prints pizza cards, ordering the plates and juice, communicating the order with Pizza Pizza catering and update month to reflect changing student orders. Supervise Pizza Lunch Day.
Volunteer coordinator (3-4 hours monthly)
Send out monthly email to solicit volunteers and ensure that enough people are available. Assign jobs to volunteers. Supervise volunteers on Pizza Lunch Day.
Veggies and Fruit Coordinator (45 minutes monthly)
Speak with Loblaws in early September to secure their continued support and provide dates. Confirm each order a week in advance. Pick-up order Friday morning of Pizza Lunch and deliver to the school.
Pizza Lunch is an important fundraiser for the school and is loved by both the kids and parents – it cannot continue without volunteer support.
