Our Spring Yard Day was a great success! Thanks to everyone who made it out to Spring Yard Day and our Earth Day celebration. We had a fabulous turnout, in spite of the cool spring weather. We got a lot of work done – we picked up litter, spread a mountain of mulch, weeded and planted, added a diagonal path in the Hillside Garden, and much, much more. And, while all this work took place, the kids were able to enjoy face-painting, art activities, an Earth Day pledge, worm planting and a book swap (and the kids loved the yard work too!). The morning of work ended with a fabulous performance by Tribal Vision, and a BBQ lunch. Yard committee would like to extend a special thanks to all of the volunteers who helped to make Yard Day possible, as well as the Spirit and Arts Committees for helping to plan and offer many of the morning’s activities. The Runnymede P.S. community should feel very proud of its amazing yard! Happy Earth Day and Earth Week!
Send us your photos of Yard day so we can share them here!
Pub Night is fast approaching! Be sure to get your tickets soon for the not-to-be-missed May 4 event.
