9:00 am – Entry: Students line up with their teachers at their specific entry door and begin school.
11:35 am – Lunch (with time for eating lunch in classrooms and outside play for students who chose not to go home for lunch)
12:30 pm – Re-entry for afternoon programming
3:05 pm – Dismissal
Although there are not necessarily scheduled recess time for kindergarten students, teachers coordinate outside play time throughout the day.
Please note that Kindergarten at Runnymede is a full-day of learning and a lot can happen, even in half a day. Now that your child is enrolled in Kindergarten, please be prepared to send them to school for the whole day, every day. Extra-curricular learning opportunities should take place outside of the school day.
