Thank you to our Runnymede Coaches who volunteer their time to coach a variety of teams and facilitate a variety of clubs throughout the year.  Their dedication towards providing a variety of experiences at Runnymede are valued and enjoyed by our students.

The clubs running at this time are:

Senior (Grades 6, 7 & 8)

Yearbook Club: Mondays at lunch in room 354 (Moens/Cianfarani)

Dance Club:  Tuesdays at lunch in room 116 (Moens).  The dress code is comfortable, with appropriate footwear. Water bottles are necessary.

Student Parliament: Wednesdays at lunch in room 354 (Javor/Dimitroff)

Documentary Film Club: Thursdays at lunch in room 360 (Day)

First Lego League: (Grades 4-8) Runnymede’s FLL team is a competitive team that uses math, science, techology and skill to problem solve, build a robot and do science-based presentations. The team has tryouts. There are mandatory meets Sept-Dec and then the TDSB’s Qualifier in December. Meet Wednesdays after school at WTCI (Moldawa/Dimitroff)

Drawing club: (Grades 5-8 ) at lunch on day 3 in room 368 (Freeman)

Junior (Grades 4 & 5)

Peer Mediators: Meet Thursdays at lunch in room 128 (Mr Rose/ Markee)

Runnymede Green Team: (Grades 4-6) Runnymede is a Gold Certified Eco School.  If you are interested in keeping your school green you should join the Green Team! Green team meets on Thursdays during the lunch hour in room 354 (Boulton / Enrico / Smith / Maddison / Bedard)

After School Programs

Arts Express: offers after school programs at Runnymede!  Their Sketching and Drawing Program runs for 9 weeks starting in October.  For more information see their website.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters: (Grades 3, 4 & 5) the Youth In-School Mentoring Program starts Wednesday November 1st and will run on Wednesdays after school until June 5th.  There is a mandatory meeting on October 18th @ lunch for all students involved.

Art In Action: New to Runnymede Public School…  Stay warm inside and spark your creativity this winter with Art in Action!  Create projects inspired by Yayoi Kusama, LeRoy Neiman, Sonia Delaunay, Kim Doig, Keith Haring and many others. Students will learn about the life and works of famous artists as well as the tactile experience of working with a variety of art materials including: watercolours, acrylics, collage materials, oil pastels, chalk pastels, spray techniques and more…  REGISTER
