| Junk Art Festival Challenge Deadline Wednesday April 22! Celebrate Earth Day by turning trash into treasure! Students are invited to create original artwork using recyclable materials, think sculptures, collages, and more.Open to all students (solo or group). Simply label your piece and drop it off at the display tables outside the main office.Prizes will be awarded by grade based on creativity and use of materials. Submission Deadline: April 22 Winners Announced: April 24 Artwork Displayed: April 25 (Yard Day) Let’s get creative for the planet!  |
| JOIN THE FUN AT SPRING YARD DAY ON SATURDAY! All ages are welcome to drop by to join us for a fun morning! We’ll be cleaning up the hillside garden, Adventure yard, and Kindergarten yard, spreading mulch, playing with worms, doing crafts, and snacking on delicious baked goods! We’re still looking for a few handy volunteers to help out with some light pruning and path maintenance, too. There’s also still time to participate in the Book Swap — primary and junior books can be dropped off outside the office. Then come on by Saturday morning and pick up some new reads! (It’s free!) We look forward to seeing you on April 25th to have some family fun, get dirty and celebrate Earth Day by keeping Runnymede beautiful! | Spring Concert Series At Runnymede’s Senior Gym May 5, 9:30 am – Grades 1-2 May 6, 7:00 pm – Grades 5-6 May 7, 7:00 pm – Grades 7-8 Band, Grades 6-7 Wind Ensamble and Chamber Strings June 2, 3:45 pm – Grades 3-4 June 10, 9:30 – Kindergarten AS ALWAYS, SCHOOL MUSIC CONCERTS ARE FREE, AND TICKETS ARE NOT NEEDED! However… If you wish to support the Runnymede HSA/ Parent Council there is a fundraising option to reserve front-row seats at your child’s next performance! There will be up to 6 pairs of seats available for each Spring Concert, priced at $100 per pair. The Front-row Concert Seats sale will open on Monday, April 27. This is a first come, first served online purchase. Front-row seats are always available at no cost—just arrive early! As with all school fundraisers, participation is completely optional. All proceeds from all HSA/Council Fundraisers go to support enrichment initiatives at Runnymede! Where does the money go? |
