All students will be participating in a fun run to show their commitment to being active for themselves and for the local community. This year Ogden school will be the focus of our support, to demonstrate how our children can be active in supporting others within their own TDSB community.

Fun Run Times
All parents are welcome to come out on Thursday June 14th to cheer on Runnymede students! The fun run will follow a similar format to the Terry Fox Run:
Grade 1 and 2: 9:15 – 9:40 am
Grade 3, 4, 5: 9:55 – 10:35 am
Grade 6, 7, 8: 10:55 – 11:25 am
JK/SK: 12:45 – 1pm
The Fun Run event is raising money to help support Ogden School, a TDSB school located in downtown Toronto. Ogden has a large immigrant and public housing population and previously benefited from some model funding, but they lost their model funding this year.
Money raised will be used to help purchase a basketball hoop for their playground and also to help with field trip assistance. The Ogden Parent Council is very appreciative of Runnymede’s support.
Our annual Staff Appreciation Lunch will take place on Friday June 15th.
This is a great way for your family to thank those staff members who may not be recipients of a traditional end-of-year gift: the gym, library and arts teachers, administrators, office staff & caretakers.
Staff will be invited to enjoy a buffet lunch – catered and served by our school’s parents – in the Senior Gym.

- Accepting Food at Drop-Off – 8:30-9:00
- Decorating – 9:00-11:00
- Set-up – 9:00-11:30
- Serving – 11:30-12:30
- Clean-up – 12:30-2:00

Everything should be nut-free, and a variety of foods and flavours are appreciated
