This will be our Biggest and Best Pub Night yet as we approach Runnymede’s Centennial in 2016, and raise funds that will go directly to improving the Front Yard!

To Purchase Tickets:

• Complete the order form at the bottom of the Pub Night flyer (paper copies will be sent home), and return with payment to your child’s teacher. Watch for the pub night flyer and ticket order form in your child’s backpack this week. E-tickets will be issued as orders are processed.  
• Tickets will also be on sale in the schoolyard on Tuesdays and Thursdays – mornings and after school, and also at Movie Night on Friday, April 17th.

Today, March 24th and tomorrow, March 25th dedicated parent volunteers will be checking our Grades K – 6 kids for lice.

When: Tuesday, April 7th  from 7 – 8 pm
Where: Runnymede Public School (room tbd)
What: An interactive show delivering inspiring messages about self confidence and understanding and overcoming bullying. This family workshop aims to:

• Share personal stories that illustrate how to overcome bullying.
• Highlight different types of bullying.
• Demonstrate the power and importance of healthy self confidence and overcoming self doubt.
• Break down gender stereotypes and feature both male and female role models.

Parent volunteers are needed on Tuesday, March 25th and Wednesday, March 26th to conduct lice checks for Grades K – 6.  Parents can choose a 2.5 hour shift during the mornings or afternoons.  Training will be provided on Wednesday, March 11th from 9 – 10 a.m in the second floor Staff Room.

Regular checks help keep school cases to a minimum.  Our January lice check successfully identified 50 cases.  We need your help to continue with this important parent-led initiative.
