What does the HSA / Parent Council do?We’re glad you asked! We are in charge of FUN, FUNDRAISING & ENRICHMENT at Runnymede!

The HSA is made up of parents who volunteer to lead the Executive team, and committees that organize and run all the special activities to help support teachers and bring the school year to life!

We provide volunteer support for positive educational experiences.
We provide teachers with tools to enhance their teaching experience through the Teacher Resource Fund (TRF), we supply educational tools & resources such as technology, arts, music and athletic equipment, we fund resources for Clubs & Teams, rainy day lunchroom bins and field trip bursaries.

Most importantly, through fundraising, we are able to provide children with fun enrichment activities to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, build social skills, and allow them to explore their interests!

Our largest fundraiser is the Direct Donation Campaign (starting September 24th) and the donation site is always open and is on the HSA website!

We are always looking for volunteers to help on the Executive team, and on all the HSA committees!

COME TO FALL YARD DAY ON OCTOBER 3rd!

All Runnymede families are welcome to come out and join in this great RPS tradition!

Fall Yard DAY is a fun, school-based “community clean-up” morning where the whole family can weed and tidy the nature garden and outdoor classrooms at the school. We’ll collect litter, trim invasive plants and weeds, sweep and tidy.

Apple peeling, and a nature craft will be set up in the Colbeck side yard.
Please bring some nut-free baking snacks to share if you can, and we’ll have coffee for the grown ups!
Stop by for an hour to help out, or come for the whole morning!

There are some tasks that need to be done in the week leading up to Yard Day, as well as on Yard Day itself. We would love your help!  Thank you in advance for helping run this important community event!

Questions or want to volunteer? Please reach out HERE!
